Introduction of Monument Hill

Monument Hill is located on the north bank of (Murray River), a small town in southern New South Wales, Albury.

Monument Hill is a great place to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the city of Albury and the Murray River. There is a white monument on the top of the mountain dedicated to commemorating those who died and contributed to Australia in World War I (1914). The memorial was built in 1924 at a cost of 3,000 pounds and was designed by architect Louis Harrison in (Louis Harrison). Not far from the monument, there is a memorial bowl (Memorial Bowl), to commemorate those who died and contributed during World War II (1939-1945).

There are many walkways around Monument Hill, which is a good place for locals and tourists to stroll around, where you can enjoy many of the local animals and plants.
