Rainbow Bay is located in (Coolangatta), the southernmost part of Queensland's second-largest city of Gold Coast, about 30 kilometers from the city of Gold Coast and only about 5 kilometers from Gold Coast Airport (Gold Coast Airport). Adjacent to Coolangatta's snapper rock (Snapper Rocks) and Hazard Point (Point Danger), near the Queensland-New South Wales border.
Rainbow Bay is considered by Gold Coast locals to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia and one of the most popular beaches in Gold Coast. It has bright sunshine and mild sea breeze, and there are huge reefs on the beach, just as it grows directly from the beach. Waves are suitable for surfing as well as for family leisure and swimming. There are fewer tourists to the beach of, Rainbow Bay than in downtown Gold Coast, where there are plenty of upscale apartments and full commercial facilities.
