Canal Rocks

Canal Rocks, Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, Canal Rocks Rd, Busselton WA 6280, Australia

Introduction of Canal Rocks

Canal Rocks is at the north end of Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park in the southwestern corner of Western Australia, nearest the resort town of Yalingup, which is about eight kilometers from the town, and about 260 kilometers from Perth, the capital of Western Australia.

In Canal Rocks, where granite rocks along the coastline have been separated from land after thousands of years of erosion by the waves, nature, by its power, has carved out a natural canal, a small bridge called the Canal Rocks Bridge across the canal that connects land with rocks separated by the sea, a perfect location for photography, especially at sunset. The narrow entrance to the canal strengthens the strength of the waves, allowing them to enjoy the majestic views of the seashore.

Safety Tips:

  • Wet and slippery rock, climbing rock must pay attention to safety;
  • Watch out for the tide. It's dangerous to stay away from land at high tide.
