Primo Estate Winery is located in South Australia's famous wine-producing region, McClaren Valley (McLaren Vale), about 40 kilometers from Adelaide, the capital of South Australia.
Primo Estate Winery originated from a young Italian who dreamed of setting up his own vineyard, (Primo Grilli), who emigrated to Australia in 1953 and founded the first vineyard of the winery in 1973. In 1979, the eldest son of Paramount Greeley, Joseph (Joseph), graduated from the Brewery Department, the same year, Primo Estate Winery launched its first wine.
