Little Desert National Park is located in the western interior of Victoria, close to the South Australian border, about 335 km away from the Melbourne of the Victoria capital, about 330 km away from the South Australian capital (Adelaide), about 176 km away from the second largest city in South Australia, Mount Gambier (Mount Gambier), and about 70 km away from the limestone coast (Limestone Coast) of South Australia, South Australia, Bodden (Bordertown).
Little Desert National Park is huge and covers an area of 1326.47 square kilometers, surrounded by a number of small towns, if coming from the direction of Melbourne, then usually from the Dimboola; and if coming from the direction of Adelaide, then fromawa (Kaniva). Two paved roads between West Highway (Western Hwy) and Wemmera Highway (Wimmera Hwy) run through the park.
Little Desert National Park is not an inch of grass, on the contrary, there are many plant varieties, but are relatively small. Among its most famous inhabitants are spotted pheasants (a rare and rare pheasant Mallee fowl, australia, mostly found in arid regions), as well as possums, gray kangaroo and lizards.
