Montague Island is a popular tourist destination, the island is classified as the Montague Island Nature Reserve (Montague Island Nature Reserve), Island is known for its magnificent scenery and rich wildlife resources, live on the island with hundreds of seals, Australian sea dogs, Tens of thousands of penguins and nearly 100 species of birds, along with thousands of humpback whales and southern right whales, travel between Antarctica and warm northern Australia between May and December each year, where whale viewing is a reserved activity.
