Bathurst Lighthouse is located in the northeast corner of (Rottnest Island), Rhodes Island, west of Perth, about five minutes' walk from the residential area of Rhodes Island. Bathurst Lighthouse, a 19.2-meter high stone lighthouse, was built in 1889. The lighthouse has a renovated former caretaker's cabin that offers rental accommodations. Bathurst Lighthouse is surrounded by beautiful scenery and an invincible view of the sea, where the 1997 Australian musical < Under the Lighthouse Dancing > was filmed.
