Alligator Gorge is located in (Mount Remarkable National Park)., the Cheuk Hill National Park, between the rolling Flinders range (Flinders Ranges) in Southern Australia.
Alligator Gorge has a spectacular natural landscape. The gorge is made up of ancient quartzite, cut across by the crocodile stream (Alligator Creek), and covered in spring with gorgeous wild flowers and orchids. With bathrooms, picnic areas and barbecue facilities, visitors can visit numerous walking trails around the Canyon from an hour to a full day. In addition, the crocodile hut in the canyon, (Alligator Lodge), is an 8-to 10-person stand-alone hut, well-equipped but in a deserted natural environment, providing visitors with an excellent accommodation experience away from the hustle and bustle of the world.
