Located in the historic Benalla Botanical Garden (Benalla Botanical Gardens), Benalla Art Gallery is an impressive modern architecture by the botanical garden lake, with art galleries regularly showcasing the works of renowned artists and a selection of permanent collections of Australian art. Including Sydney Nolan (Sidney Nolan), Ned Kelly (Ned Kelly) series of Green Rawan tapestries, Arthur Stritone (Arthur Streeton) 's Golden Summer impression (Golden Summer) and a variety of traditions, indigenous, modern art, Post-modernism works and a series of works created by female artists.
