Wangaratta Art Gallery is located in the small town of Wangaratta, in the inland mountains of northern Victoria, next to the Wangaratta Performing Arts Center, (Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre,WPAC.
In 2004, Wangaratta Art Gallery adopted a permanent art collection policy, (Permanent Art Collection Policy), which allows galleries to collect textiles and wood products from the region.
