Maru Koala and Animal Park is about 100km from Melbourne, the capital of Victoria, in (Grantville), a small town in the (Bass Coast) area on the Bath coast of southern Victoria.
Maru Koala and Animal Park is a private zoo founded and operated by the Haifo family (Heffer). The park houses kangaroos, koalas, koalas, Tasmanian badgers, Australian wild dogs, crocodiles and local birds. During the koala trip, visitors will have the opportunity to have close contact with koalas and enjoy an hour-by-hour trip. Tourists will have the opportunity to touch and feed koalas, "close contact" with them and take pictures. On weekends, school holidays and public holidays, breeders will explain the animals offered to tourists.
At Maru Koala and Animal Park's Pirate Pate Mini Golf course (Pirate Pete's Mini-Golf Adventure), visitors can enjoy 18 holes of golf; the park also has a licensed coffee shop that offers coffee and drinks.
