Located in the northeast suburb of Perth, the capital of Western Australia, Swan Valley is a famous wine region in Western Australia, about 25 kilometers from the city of Perth.
Swan Valley, the oldest and most visited wine region in Western Australia, is a vineyard-studded valley with more than 150 wineries and restaurants, including award-winning vineyards such as Sandalford Wines. As well as restaurants, small wineries and wineries, visitors can choose either a 32-kilometer one-way route or a round-the-clock route to experience Swan Valley's award-winning wine and delicacies.
In the heart of Swan Valley, Guilford (Guildford) is a glamorous community, home to Swan Valley's tourist information center, strolling along the legacy trail of historic bars and the antique house. Browse boutiques and art galleries, or enjoy an afternoon of live music in the Beer Garden.
Most of the wineries offer free wine tasting, and some have restaurants that allow you to have a western-style tasting of red wine in the open air for an exotic taste. In addition to tasting red wine, there are chocolate factories, cheese shops, honey shops and handicrafts shops to visit and taste for free. Since there is a distance between wineries, the best way to go to Swan Valley is to drive and stop when you see your favorite winery on the road. If you don't rent a car, you can also go with a one-day tour. Information about the tour is available in youth hostel and hotel lobby.
