Nanguluwur Art Site

Nanguluwur Art Site, Kakadu NT 0822, Australia

Introduction of Nanguluwur Art Site

Nanguluwur Art Site, located in the Northern Territory's dual World Cultural and Natural Heritage site, east of Kakadu National Park (Kakadu National Park), is an indigenous rock art gallery site.

Nanguluwur Art Site is not as well known as the two most famous rock painting sites in Kakadu National Park, Ubier (Ubirr) and Nolan Keystone Art site (Nourlangie Rock Art Site). On the one hand, the number and quality of rock paintings are not as good as those of the first two. On the other hand, Nanguluwur Art Site is located in a remote location, the road is difficult to reach, only four-drive cars can enter during the dry season, no vehicle can be reached during the rainy season, and it takes about 3.5km to and fro the walking path after getting off the bus. This has also caused Nanguluwur Art Site to be sparsely populated and low-profile.
