Adelaide Zoo is the second oldest zoo in australia (after melbourne zoo Melbourne Zoo) near Adelaide botanical garden (Adelaide Botanic Garden) at the northeast end of the city, the capital of south australia.
Australia's love of animals is world-famous, with every big city setting aside places for zoos and botanical gardens in the heart of the city. Compared with zoos in other big Australian cities, the Adelaide Zoo area is small and the environment is beautiful. There are about 1500 kinds of animals in the zoo, including kangaroos, koalas, marsupials, platypus and so on. Adelaide Zoo also have two pandas from China, which is the only place in Australia to see pandas.
