(Wollemi National Park (Wollemi National Park,) Blue Mountain (Blue Mountains) and Lower Hunter Valley (Lower Hunter region), in eastern New South Wales, are about 300km by car from Sydney, the capital of New South Wales. Covering an area of about 5017 square kilometers, NSW is the second largest national park in (Kosciuszko National Park) in Coxiucau National Park, most of which is a wilderness reserve.
Wollemi National Park is part of a common UNESCO assessment of the World Natural Heritage: (Greater Blue Mountains Area, 2000 in the range region of Grand Blue Mountain, which includes seven national parks and a protected area in the range World Heritage site. In addition to Wollemi National Park, the rest are: blue Mountain National Park, (Blue Mountains National Park), Yangoo National Park, (Yengo National Park), Natayi National Park, (Nattai National Park), Kanangera-Boyd National Park (Kanangra-Boyd National Park),). Wollemi National Park owns the oldest plant in the world, (Wollemi Pine), which is widely believed to have been extinct 30 million years ago, but this rare plant was discovered here in 1994. The scientists were delighted. The National Park protects a number of tributaries of the Hoxbury River (Hawkesbury River), of which (Colo River) is regarded as the last unpolluted river in New South Wales. More than 70 species of eucalyptus cover 90 per cent of the national park, with the remaining 10 per cent being rainforests, wilderness and grasslands. There are 58 species of reptiles, 38 species of frogs, 235 species of birds and 46 species of mammals in Wollemi National Park.
In addition, as a place where the aborigines once lived, cave murals are a feature of Wollemi National Park, as well as tomahawk troughs, stone carvings, and other aboriginal cultural and historical sites. .
