Kosciuszko National Park (Kosciuszko National Park) is located in the snow mountain area (Snowy Mountains) south-west new south wales, near the victorian border and about 480 km from the capital Sydney of new south wales.
The Kosciuszko National Park, named after australia's highest peak and the highest in oceania: Mount Kosciuszko, was listed on the australian national heritage list in 2008. Mt. Korschaukau ,2230 m above sea level, is the highest point in Australia's mainland. The mountain is composed of granite; the top winter is covered with snow and remains of ancient glaciers; and the forest is more than 1700 m above sea level, which is the summer pasture. The Polish explorer Schelekai discovered the mountain in 1839 and named it after the Polish hero Tadiush Kosusco (1746-1817). Although it is the highest peak in Oceania, the difficulty of climbing is simply not comparable to that of mountains on other continents, and there is no need for special mountaineering experience, whether old people or children, to reach the top with physical strength. The best season for climbing is spring and summer.
As the mountain is the coldest and snowiest place in australia, the top and surrounding areas of the mountain are covered with snow in the winter and spring of each year, i.e. from july to october. Kosciuszko National Park is one of the few places in New South Wales where several famous ski resorts are located. A ski resort (Thredbo) with the highest point in australia with an electric conveyor belt and the longest ski track can be the first choice if you want to pursue an exciting experience, and a professional ski school for the ski rookie, and a variety of children's snow sports are children's favorite.
