The Overlanders Steakhouse

72 Hartley St., Alice Springs NT 0870, Australia

Introduction of The Overlanders Steakhouse

The Overlanders Steakhouse, located in downtown Alice Springs, a small inland town in the central part of the Northern Territory, was built in 1971 to commemorate people who had ventured in the great inland countryside of Australia.

Owaland (Overlanders) is the name of those involved in the largest cattle movement in Australia's history, including pioneers, miners, settlers and workers. Now the steak restaurant is often described as a living museum that provides a unique dining experience for customers. One of the menu's specialties, called "Ranger burst," includes soup, emu, crocodile, camel, perch, beef and kangaroo. After eating, have some tea, coffee and dessert, and then go home with a nice souvenir. You can also offer a single-point menu, hotel pick-up and round trip, which is included in the "Pastoral burst" package.
