Introduction of Aboriginal Blue Mountains Walkabout

Led by indigenous guides, Aboriginal Blue Mountains Walkabout provides visitors with close access to the natural beauty of Blue Mountain (Blue Mountains), a world heritage site.

On the way, indigenous guides will explain to tourists the myth of creation and the spiritual charm of the mountains, and have the opportunity to visit challenging remote routes and follow the ancient "song path" (Songline) through the dense forest. Song path refers to the path through dreams and songs, tourists will feel the ancient indigenous culture and places of sacrifice, listen to dream time stories. On this award-winning tour, wild animals and spectacular sand caves can also be seen to explore the real blue mountain.

The hiking route is about 3.5 kilometers, medium difficult, and takes about 6 hours to walk, including 2 hours of hiking, and the rest of the time is spent on indigenous culture, various activities, photography and relaxation.


Place of departure:

  • Foken Bridge train Station (Faulconbridge Station), can be reached by Blue Mountain Line (BMT) from Sydney central Station (Central Station), about 80 minutes one way.


Departure time:

  • Monday to Friday: 10:35
  • Weekends and public holidays: 10:45
  • Tours are not available on 31 December and 1 January
