Introduction of The Rock Lookout

The Rock Lookout is located on the eastern edge of Blue Mountain National Park (Blue Mountains National Park) in New South Wales, on the eastern edge of Murgo Valley (Mulgoa Valley), about 65 kilometers from Sydney, the capital of New South Wales. About 20 kilometers by car from the community of Burris (Penrith), at the foot of the Blue Mountain.

The Rock Lookout is a high point on the (Nepean River) bank of the Nippian River, unlike many artificial observatories, an area of natural rock that can enjoy the scenery. Here you can enjoy the invincible natural beauty of the Donipian Canyon (Nepean Gorge).


How to:

  • Drive, note: the last section of (Fairlight Road) to The Rock Lookout is dirt / gravel road, with a short path hundreds of meters long to the observatory.
