Introduction of Mole Creek Karst National Park

Mole Creek Karst National Park is located in the northern part of Tasmania, about 100km east from (Launceston), the second largest city of Tasmania. The ferry to and from Melbourne and Tasmanian Island, the Tasmanian Spirit, is about 70 kilometers by car from Davenport (Devonport), where the (Spirit of Tasmania) terminal is located, and covers an area of 13.45 square kilometers.

Mole Creek Karst National Park is a large cave geology park, spread all over the stalactite cave, the stalactite inside is very magnificent strange, here the vegetation is rich at the same time lush, as if is Europe's fairy tale world.

Two of the many caves in Mole Creek Karst National Park are open to the public and sell tickets separately, namely:

  • The Malakupa cave (Marakoopa Cave): is characterized by underground streams and fireflies;
  • King Solomon Cave (King Solomons Cave): is characterized by a large number of calcite crystals.
