Cape Willoughby

Cape Willoughby, Willoughby SA 5222, Australia

Introduction of Cape Willoughby

Cape Willoughby is located in the easternmost part of the Kangaroo Island in southern South Australia, about 28 kilometers from Penneshow, the port town of the South Australian mainland, and about 75 kilometers from the largest town of the Kangaroo Island, King Scott, part of the Cape Willowby Conservation Park.

Founded in 1852, Cape Willoughby is the first lighthouse in South Australia. The lighthouse itself has no special, but the surrounding scenery is excellent. In addition, because it is located in the easternmost side of kangaroo Island, most of the tour groups will not come here, sparsely populated, with the vicissitudes of life at the ends of the earth. In addition, the scenery from the port of Pennishaw to Cape Willoughby is absolutely amazing, from the sea to the forest. The landscape of wetlands and wildlife can keep your mouth shut all the way.

Tickets:

  • Guided lighthouse service, adult: $16, children: $10, family (2 big and 2 small): $42, self-help tour: $3
