Highfield Historic Site's popular tourist town in the northwest corner of Tasmania, Stanley.

Highfield Historic Site is a well-maintained historic building whose ruins include houses, barracks, barn, stables, and a large garden, regarded as the birthplace of European settlements in northwest Tasmania. Highfield Historic Site was built in 1832-35. The residence of Edward Curr, the principal agent of Van Diemen's Land Company, is an important part of Tasmania's historic heritage. In 1982, the Tasmanian government acquired the house and opened it to the public after extensive restoration work. It can also be rented as a wedding venue.

Highfield Historic Site is located on a small hillside, scenic, where you can enjoy the invincible views of Stanley, 's Big Nut (The Nut) and (Bass Strait) in the Bath Strait.
