Dunsborough, a coastal town in southwestern Western Australia, has a permanent population of about 5,500, about 20km from Busselton and 250km from Perth, the capital of Western Australia.
Located in the Margaret River Wine Region, surrounded by numerous fine beaches and long-standing wineries, Dunsborough is one of Western Australia's favourite resorts, once rated as the state's best resort in 1999, in Meelup Regional Park, one of Australia's most beautiful beaches, while Leewinu-Naturali National Neste National Park, about 10 km from the small town, is considered one of Western Australia's most popular national parks.
In addition to the surrounding rich tourist resources, the small town of Dunsborough itself is equally exquisite and beautiful, with a variety of commercial facilities such as hotels, resorts, restaurants, bars and so on, so Dunsborough and Perth's Rottnest Island are recognized as the two top destinations for WA student graduation trips.
