Castle Rock Beach is on the northern outskirts of Dunsborough, a resort town in the southwest corner of Western Australia.
Castle Rock Beach is divided into two parts, the west side of the beach is clear and sandy, the beach has a public toilet and changing rooms, the wind and waves are small, suitable for swimming and diving, while the east side is occupied by boulders called Castle Rock, suitable for taking pictures and climbing, especially at sunset. Winding along the beach, or walking about 500 metres from Meelup Beach through Meelup Trail, while climbing up the castle's rock top will give you a spectacular view of the Indian Ocean.
Safety Tips:
- Climb the castle rock. Be safe. Wet rock can cause injuries. It's very dangerous.
