Whyalla

Introduction of Whyalla

Located in the northeast corner of (Eyre Peninsula) on the Al Peninsula in South Australia, Whyalla is about 384km by car from Adelaide and about 80km from (Port Augusta), the port of Augusta. Whyalla is the fourth largest city of South Australia in Asia. Whyalla is close to the iron ore-producing region. There are iron and steel enterprises and developed shipbuilding industry, is an important export port of iron ore in South Australia.

Whyalla itself is not rich in tourism resources, but it is relatively close to the port of Augusta, and it is also on the only way from Adelaide to Port Lincoln, the most important tourist destination on the peninsula, so there are also many tourists here to rest and recuperate.
