Introduction of Lithgow

Lithgow is a small town in the (Central Tablelands) region of the central highland of eastern New South Wales, about 135km from Sydney, the capital of New South Wales.

Located west of Blue Mountain National Park (Blue Mountains National Park), Lithgow is thought to be the first truly rural town in western Sydney. The Blue Mountain line from Sydney, (Blue Mountains Line,BMT, runs all the way down the ridge, with about a dozen small towns on both sides of the line, and Katumba is the end of the line.

In addition to Blue Mountain National Park, Lithgow is also surrounded by a number of national parks, is one of the portals of these national parks, the name of the steam train (Zig Zag Railway), firefly tunnel (Glow Worm Tunnel), Capti Canyon (Capertee Valley) and others are valuable tourist destinations around Lithgow.
