U.S. News ranking
U.S.News & World Report, is American News and World report in Chinese. It is an English weekly with comprehensive reports and comments in the United States. As you all know, it is a very good magazine, which is as famous as TIME and Newsweek. In 1948, it was formed by the merger of American News and World report. USNEWS`s ranking of American universities began in 1983 and has been updated annually since 1985, making it one of the most famous American universities. Since 2009, USNEWS has worked with QS to rank universities around the world.
Ranking method and scoring standard
U.S. News`s scoring criteria, including 40%and 10%of academic ability and employer satisfaction, 20%for school citations and teacher and 5%for international teachers.
Ranking factors include:
(22.5 per cent)-undergraduate academic reputation (including the popularity of the school by high school student and the comprehensive reputation of the school for undergraduate education)
(22.5 per cent)-transition rate for freshmen (that is, the rate at which students continue their sophomore studies after the end of freshman year)
(12.5 per cent)-Student situation (i.e., average SAT,ACT score for undergraduate freshmen; ranking of undergraduate students in high school classes; application admission ratio)
(20 per cent)-teacher strength (including undergraduate class size, teacher-student ratio, teacher pay, teacher-owned PhD academic degree ratio)
(10 per cent)-Financial situation (that is, the average financial expenditure of undergraduate students on teaching, research and services provided by other schools, which can be understood as tuition fees)
(7.5%)-graduation rate (rate of successful graduation of undergraduates)
(5%)-Alumni donation rate (rate of donations from undergraduate graduates to schools)
QS ranking
Quacquarelli Symonds, the English full name of QS, is a world-famous international higher education consulting organization specializing in providing information on higher education and graduate recruitment. Using a variety of channels, such as thematic conferences, publications, research reports and interactive web platforms, QS provides information exchange with employers and schools for undergraduates, graduate students, MBA and on-the-job students around the world. After terminating its partnership with Times higher Education in 2009, QS teamed up with News and the World report, Korea Daily and the Sun to release the annual World University rankings.
Ranking method and scoring standard
QS evaluation criteria pay more attention to academic, but also reflect "inclusive" and "diversity". 40% of the academic peer evaluation can reflect whether a school has a good reputation in the industry, while 20% of the teacher-student ratio and 20% of essay citations show that QS is very concerned about teaching quality and academic achievements. Interestingly, there are also 5% of international students and 5% of international teachers in the evaluation criteria, indicating that QS still has certain requirements for the "big" of universities.

It has been released annually since then. The original intention is to analyze the position of Chinese famous universities in the world university system. - Quality of teaching staff: equivalent of 20% of staff who have won the Nobel or Field Prize.?

Seeing this standard, the editor felt a little bit jammed. I won`t say much about the Nobel Prize. The Fitts Award is a special award for outstanding young mathematicians.
