Brief introduction of Rural University Network
(Regional Universities Network, RUN), a network of rural universities, is translated as a regional university network. Most of the member schools are mainly located in Australia`s non-capital cities.
The Rural University Network was established in October 2011 in response to Australia`s government regional focus on higher education, with an initial establishment of six member universities. On May 29, 2019, Charest University (Charles Sturt University) announced that it would join as the seventh member of the network.
