[Free Tour]     18 Jan 2019
If I was asked where was the best place to go around Sydney, I would not hesitate to see the naturally mysterious Blue Mountain (Blue Mountain). The mountain eucalyptus forest, eucalyptus leaves exude the rich fragrance, in the sunlight refraction, this fragrant volatile vapor, makes the blue mountain and the sky shrouded in a light blue smoke, like a fairyland.

[distance] 1-4.5 km

[along the way] Bridal Veil Falls, cat magpie, Wompa pigeon

From Leura Cascades, you have several routes to choose from.

If you want to go further, go to Fern Bower Circuit, a circle of 4.5km. If you are a friend who has just joined the trekking circle, you may feel a little challenging, but you can experience the thrills of cliffs and the lush Jamison Valley on the way. The beauty of the current, who still remember the fatigue just now?

You can also choose to go to Echo Point and Leura Forest, cat magpies and wompa pigeons to meet you there. But don't start. There are tall eucalyptus trees all around Leura Cascades,. It's a great picnic spot. Sit down and have a meal (but you need to bring your own dry food). After eating and drinking, change into a swimsuit, take a shower in the nearby Bridal Veil Falls and Leura Falls water, or take a nap on the waterfall rocks. Pack up the happy mood, and the next walk will be more joyful.

[along the way] the yellow-tailed black parrot, the king's parrot.

Cliff top walking track starting point is Govetts Leap Lookout, end point is Evans Lookout. As the name has told you, along the way you will go through multiple cliffs, enjoy the limitless scenery of Grose Valley along the way, and keep your heart beating faster as you walk through the dangerous peaks. This route is best suited to the observation of flowers and birds, yellow-tailed black parrot and king parrot are frequent visitors on the road. In spring, the flowers spread all over the mountains, white-necked honey-eating birds to join the party. Winter to take this route is also very suitable, all the way to the sun, warm very comfortable. In addition, friends who like waterfalls can stop at Barrow Lookout and enjoy the beautiful waterfall. When you get to the finish line and treat yourself to a trek, a full meal and a return trip, is there anything happier than that?

The most beautiful Blue Mountain

Scenic World's Great Round Walk doesn't take you long to walk, but you can see a lot of views along the way, along the way with classic views of Sydney's Blue Mountain, such as Scenic Skyway, Prince Henry Cliffwalk, Giant Staircase and Federal Pass.

You can first take the Scenic Skyway with Unlimited Discovery Pass to East Station.. If you don't think it's new to cross the valley in the middle of 270 meters, I'd like to remind you that the car is open! Body! Too! Ming! Yes! Looking down through the glass floor, there was no end to the abyss. Crossing the valley can be 360-degree no dead angle to watch Katoomba Falls, the Three Sisters and Jamison Valley, more stimulation, how exciting. Get off the cable car and follow the route to Echo Point, and shout a salute to the three sisters' peaks, which is much more fun than being able to take a picture together and play with the group. Then take a thousand steps down the Grand Stairway ladder to the bottom rainforest. When Federal Pass returns to the station and takes the steepest train in the world, the ups and downs of the trip are as simple as that.

Second, how to play tourism?

Surrounded by Sydney, Blue Mountain is the only beauty (with travel lovers, tourists detailed route)

Jamison Valley Jamison Valley

Whether you are taking train or driving yourself to Blue Mountain, if you do not want to finish the Blue Mountain in a day, it is suggested that the town of Katoomba be used as the starting point, and that the sightseeing bus in the scenic spot should be taken directly to stop 12, Scienic World, to get off the bus. Then take the 45-degree tilted forest train (Railway) to the tropical rain forest, take a 30-minute walk to explore the natural rainforest, and then take the cable car (Cableway) back to the ground. The last high-altitude glass cabin, (Skyway), is the first cable car in the world to use glass as the ground. It will take you 90 meters from the ground to overlook the natural landscape such as the three sister peaks of Blue Mountain at an altitude of 90 meters from the ground. Through the glass bottom of the cabin, you can take a look at the (Jamison Valley) of Jamison Valley, all of which are picturesque. Get off the cable car and walk to the Echo Angle viewing platform to enjoy the beauty of the three sister peaks (The Three Sisters). Next to this is the Indigenous Center (very small, on the negative first floor of the shopping mall, where lunch can be settled), which will allow you to return directly to the parking area, or take the bus to train Station in the town of Katoomba. If you have plenty of time to continue to go to the town of Leura, enjoy the waterfall all the way, and finally leave from the train station in the town of Leura (note the last train flight, one hour).

Tips:

If you are lazy, direct choice of one-day tour is the simplest, what strategy do not do, the English group will basically include hotel pick-up and scenic spots tickets (the price is slightly higher, usually a small group, foreign tour guides are also more fun); The Chinese regiment city center designated site collection, tickets are purchased at the tour guide, can be selected according to their own point of play.

You can go to Blue Mountain by train from Sydney. Sydney central train Station 12, 13 Blue Mountain train Line (Blue Mountains Line), travel about 2 hours, the more suitable flight is 07:23 and 0818, remember to get off at Katoomba Station, can also go to Leura Station. Five, April-May Blue Mountain Red Leaf season

Sydney from the end of April to the beginning of May, autumn, leaves, colorful, beautiful to the extreme. Every time, watching Sydney Blue Mountain Red Leaf is absolutely not missing the scenery. If the travel time is right, I would like to recommend a few places to see the best place to see the red leaves of Sydney Blue Mountain, for your reference!

Mount Wilson

Many people say to go to the Blue Mountain to see the red leaf, Mount Wilson is the first choice. Small as it is, it is a picturesque, traditional British town with many private gardens, each with its own characteristics, most of which are somewhat exquisite Japanese gardens, like the forest in fairy tales.

Mount Tomah Botanic Garden

The 252-hectare garden is so big that it's full of tall trees. It's a natural oxygen, and the point is to visit it for free. There is a chic red grove in the botanical garden, but it will take a while to find it. Oh, and the lush, lovely lawn, lying on the super-comfortable, picnics.

Blackheath

After Katoomba to this town, the town's streets are lined with tall and tall trees, thick foliage, quite a amorous. Looking at it, the whole long street was colorful and the autumn scenery was magnificent. In late autumn, if you want to see red maple like fire and suffer from no private car, you can watch maple leaves from train to Blackheath. There are a lot of antique shops in town, and if you're tired of shopping, it's great to choose a coffee shop.

Leura

In the famous town of Leura, in autumn, a row of cherry trees on the main street, Leura Mall, turned orange. Walk down the street, you can find more lush autumn scenery. The south of the town is even more agreeable, overflowing with quaint customs.

Wentworth Falls

The town in front of Leura is Wentworth Fall, the perfect place to see red leaves and picnics, families with children to go, and children's play facilities there. The town can also see waterfalls, which are said to be 187 meters high, a spectacular height in Australia. Along the mountain path you can also go to the viewing platform, the scenery along the way is also great, highly recommended.

Tips:

Sydney Blue Mountain Red Leaf is really beautiful, but it also has a very short time, the best viewing time of the year from the end of April to the beginning of May, only about 2, 3 weeks. So if you travel to Sydney at this time, don't miss the beautiful scenery.
