A wonderful evening event at the flower show
This world-class flower show Floriade event, originally limited to the daytime, was even more lively after the launch of the Flower Show Night NightFest in 2008. This five-night event will transform the park into a brightly lit, light-lighted fantasy park. State-of-the-art lighting will illuminate flower beds, ponds and trees in new ways, while night markets, live performances, comedians and DJ add to the excitement, creating five magical nights at Canberra Federal Park in September.
Theme I (26 September 2018): movie Night
Bring popcorn and a picnic blanket, go to the outdoor cinema of Stage88, find a good seat in the sea of flowers and get ready to watch the 80's representative movie. At 18:45 there will be the 1985 classic American sci-fi comedy "back to the Future" and the 1984 American horror comedy "Devil Stars," which will be shown at 20:45.
Theme II (27 and 28 September 2018): music Night
On the evening of September 27, 2018, take a break from your vocal cords, put on your dancing shoes, and head to Stage88, under the control of Lucy Sugarman and Mojo Juju. At the end of the show, the folk music artist Thelma Plum presents you with beautiful songs.
The evening of September 28, 2018, the same theme, but the control field musicians are not the same. Still, Stage88,Caiti Baker and Jeff Duff will show you a different piece of music, and then there will be Kate Miller-Heidke to dance with you in the sea of flowers.
Theme III (29 September 2018): party night
At 20 p. M., Canberra's party bands Big Boss Grove and Juzzie Smith will lead the crowd to a night of extraordinary flower shows. It will be a night wrapped with electric charm and power, listening to the 1980s pop music Cell Block 69, dancing in the sea of flowers.
Theme IV (30 September 2018): comedy Night
Tonight, the Australian comedian will make you laugh all over the place, showcasing popular comedy shows, and enjoy a delicious snack here at your own expense. Look at the flowers, laugh, taste as many delicacies.
On the other hand, this year they can enjoy the joy of Floriade with their baby Wang Xing-from 10:00 to 7 pm on Oct. 14, Floriade welcomes dogs, big and small, to the Federal Park with their owners. Go to the Pooch Cafe with a cool POSE, at the free photo booth with your dear four-legged partner, find him a favorite present in the dog market, and dress him up to win home the good things on competition. Or just explore the Floriade, sun together. Is there anything more comfortable and cozy than this?
TIPS
- Dogs need to be fully vaccinated and wear traction straps to get in.
- Take good care of the curious little ones and don't let them into the flower bed;
- If the dog can not help but sprinkle the "remains", remember to responsibly remove it, don't fail to live up to the name of the "shovel" ah ha.

Griffin Lake
