Found the little penguin.

In the wild, young penguins have many natural predators, including seals and sharks in the water, and reptiles and birds on land. Unfortunately, the protected species is now under increasing threat: the growing number of domestic and wild animals, such as cats and foxes, has reduced the size of the penguin's natural habitat; Human overfishing of marine life has reduced penguins' food reserves.

Therefore, small penguins need more human breeding and protection.

So at Sydney Aquarium you can see a lot of young penguins still growing, just out of town. Unfinished fluff, walk a shake a swing, wrestling with the chest "brake", the cute look is also too cute ~

Burgundy Island (Mermaid)

Dugong (Dugong) comes from Malay, meaning "daughter of the Sea." In the past, they had been mistakenly thought to be mermaids by sailors who had been wandering in the ocean all year round, but according to new scientific research, they were in fact close relatives of elephants.

Early European navigators often treated manatees or dugongs as mermaids, not only because they had breasts, dexterous forelimbs, and fish-like tails. And the breast-feeding dugong's embrace of the cubs reminds the year-round sailors of their mothers and their wives and children. As a result, the symbol of beauty of the "mermaid" has become a synonym for these silly big guys ~

It is worth mentioning that although dugong and manatee are aquatic large herbivorous mammals, their appearance is very similar, but there are obvious differences. The tail of dugong is similar to the Y tail of dolphin, while the tail of manatee is flat and slightly round. Dugongs are mainly distributed on the coast of the western Pacific and Indian Ocean, while manatees live in tropical waters, mainly in the Atlantic basin.

Dugong Pig and Wuru, famous residents of the Sydney Aquarium, came to their area of life on the island of Burgundy. They were found and rescued in Queensland, spent their childhood in the Ocean World on the Gold Coast, moved to the Sydney Aquarium in 2008, were taken care of and had a happy life. And friendly, they are happy to interact with visitors.

Shark valley

The ferocious sharks in the aquarium have long been one of tourists' favorite animals. They are mysterious, elegant and ferocious, attracting the eyes of countless tourists. And the Sydney Aquarium Shark Valley is a rare and protected shark! Let's see!

Sydney Aquarium introduction, aquarium should play this way!

Grey nurse sharks declined sharply in the 1960s and 1970s, and in 1984 they became the first sharks in the world to be granted protective status. Although the grey nurse shark looks terrible and has rows of sharp teeth, it poses no threat to humans.

Black-fin reef sharks are habitually identified by the protruding black tip of their fins. The species, up to 120 cm long, feeds on crustaceans and other small fish.

White-fin reef sharks are thinner than other sharks, with oval eyes and distinctive white pointed fins, up to 1.6 meters long. Its diet includes eels, octopuses and crustaceans.

The Wobbegong shark is a carpet shark found in temperate and tropical waters of the Indian Ocean-Pacific Ocean. The name "Wobbegong" originated from the native Australian language, meaning "fluffy beard." It refers to the growth of whiskers around the mouth. Unlike other sharks, Wobbegong has patterned skin and dark spots that help it camouflage at the bottom of the sea.

Gray reef sharks are one of the most common sharks in the Indian Ocean-Pacific Ocean, usually in coastal shallow waters as low as 60 meters. Up to 1.9 meters long, grey reef sharks feed on free-swimming hard bones, cephalopods and a range of crustaceans, including squid, octopus, crab and lobster.

The appearance of sand tiger shark is fierce, but the character is quiet and gentle, it is a miracle in the sea. Look at them swimming slowly in the aquarium, but it's incredibly fast to start the fire!

nautilus

Deep in the Jurassic waters of the Sydney Aquarium, there is a mysterious nautilus, a cephalopod closely associated with squid, octopus and cuttlefish. The first Nautilus appeared more than 500 million years ago, and today's creatures have little change to their ancestors, so they are often described as living fossils. They have the extraordinary ability to use jet thrusters to quickly move away from predators through their internal chamber systems.

Sydney octopus

The common Sydney octopus is an octopus found on the east coast of Australia.
