How to save money after losing heart and crazy buying?

So when you leave the country (when you return to China), you must:

Remember the tax rebate! Remember the tax rebate! Remember the tax rebate!

Official publicity Map of TRS tourist tax rebate

So what are the conditions for the TRS tourist tax rebate?

Items purchased within 60 days prior to the departure date;

One or more purchases at the same merchant (that is, the same Australian firm, or ABN) for a total invoice value of $300 or more (including taxes);

If the purchase exceeds 1000 Australian dollars, the invoice must contain the buyer's name and address, and the name must be the same as the name on the ticket.

Tax rebate items must be carried with them (not consignable), unless they are liquid, gel, spray or supersized items;

If there are tax rebate items that must or are allowed to be checked in, remember to check in and check out the baggage at Custom and Quarantine Office after you check with the customs officer and seal the original invoice before you can check in and check in.

Items that are not eligible for tax rebate include:

Daily consumption items-food, drinks, tobacco, etc.;

Service class fees-air tickets, hotels, tourism activities, rental fares, etc.;

Non-tax / tax-free goods-part of the drug (if any, ask the shopkeeper at the time of purchase).

There are two channels at the airport's TRS rebate counte

  • Manual tax rebate channels-there are a lot of people in line, and it takes a lot of time to check all personal information from scratch and so on;
  • QR Code Fast Channel (recommended)-there are also a lot of people in line, but because all the information is ready in advance, the team is moving fast and takes a relatively small amount of time.

Compared with manual tax rebate, QR code tax rebate is more convenient and faster than manual tax rebate, and the accuracy of QR code tax rebate is also higher than that of manual tax rebate. You can download TRS, in advance on your mobile phone as follows:

Locate and download TRS at app store

Open TRS, and fill in all the information step by step, then a QR code appears and saved in a screenshot on the phone. Show the TRS counter staff at the airport again their passports, boarding passes, original purchase receipts and purchases before completing the tax rebate. (the specific process is not explained in detail here because of the length relationship, interested friends can refer to our shopping strategy oh, there are detailed pictures and text, oh, here is the link)

Other Airport Information Express

Cell phone card

Local cell phone cards in Australia can be purchased at the Optus and Vodafone (Vodafone) counters in the arrival hall. After purchase, you can ask staff to register and activate the cell phone SIM card, which will be more convenient. Generally speaking, there are more Chinese in Sydney, so the Chinese in the class should also have them. If there are no Chinese employees on the scene, can you ask Australian employees have Chinese Speaker. The two communication companies are open from 6: 00 a.m. to 10:00 each day.

Hot and cold drinking wate

McDonald's Restaurant (McDonalds) offers free hot water, one glass per passenger; there are multiple drinking fountains at the airport, ready to drink.

[经] currency exchange

There are 21 currency exchange counters at Sydney International Airport Terminal T1, where you can exchange some Australian dollars or return the remaining Australian dollars to RMB.

Modes of traffic between Sydney airport and urban areas

Rental car self-driving

Australia's car rental service is so convenient that partners who choose to drive themselves can rent a car only by providing an official English translation of their Chinese driver's license. It's very convenient to rent a car at Sydney Airport, and car rental companies with counters here include Avis, Hertz, Europcar, Budget, Thrifty and Redspot.. Therefore, when renting a car to choose a company, you can give priority to these companies, because you can get the car directly.

Just GPS (or Google Maps) from Sydney Airport to the hotel location in downtown Sydney to start driving, but be sure to follow the traffic regulations and speed limit signs during driving. Because a ticket that costs several hundred Australian dollars really can't afford to hurt.

Tips:

If you are renting a car to return to the airport, on the return day, remember to reserve enough time to complete the return procedures, if it is an international flight recommended reservation of at least 4 hours!

Take the bus train (Subway)

The Airport Link (Airport Link) includes a 9-kilometer-long train tunnel connecting Sydney Airport with downtown Sydney and elsewhere. Each year, more than 8 million passengers travel on this line to and from Sydney Airport. The airport line runs from 5 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week and no rest throughout the year.

For locals and people who often travel to and from Sydney, the airport ring is actually the most convenient and economic mode of transportation. It takes only about 15 minutes to take train from Sydney Airport to downtown, while train runs every 10 minutes or so. The airport ring line is very easy to ride, that is, in the international or domestic arrival hall to collect luggage, look up for the orange T sign, and then along with the sign all the way, you can find the entrance to the bus train. Then you can take a ride here and get to the location you want to go to downtown Sydney.

The platform is distributed as follows:

Sydney airport international terminal-Sydney airport domestic terminal-Mascot station-Green Square station-Central Station station-Museum station-St. James station-circular wharf Circular Quay station-Wynyard station-city hall Town Hall station

It is recommended to make a survey before taking a ride and find the nearest station to your hotel or apartment so that you can get off directly at the right station.

Airportlink Sydney bus train Airport Line Roadmap by official website

If you take the bus train Airport Ring Line, you must first buy the local "Traffic Card", the Sydney-specific Aobauka OPAL.. Before entering the station, you will see two places to buy, one is an unmanned vending machine, and the other is an artificial counter. It is strongly recommended that you go to the manual counter to buy an Australian treasure card and recharge it here. Instead of going to an unattended ticket machine to buy a one-way ticket because using a rechargeable Australian card will be about $2 a. 3 a ride cheaper than buying a one-way ticket!

Recommendations for scenic spots you can visit when you arrive on the same day

If you arrive in Sydney on the same day, I do not recommend that you take part in the one-day parade program, because in case the flight is delayed, it will be too late to arrive at the designated meeting point, which may result in a loss. So I suggest you consider making a seamless connection with some of the tourism projects in and around the city that can be reached on their own, so that, The ability not to waste valuable travel time can also significantly reduce the risk of missing travel due to flight delays.

Parent-child recommendation-Taronga Zoo

The Taronga Zoo is home to more than 400 species of animals, such as koala bears, platypus, kangaroos, Dingo dogs, kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, Australian birds, and chimpanzees, penguins and otters. Rhinoceros, seals, raccoons, lizard reptiles and other animals. You can also watch free performances and listen to administrators explain and watch feeding and other activities. It's the children's favorite. If there's half a day, don't miss it!

The used Australian card from the airport to downtown can also be picked up directly by swiping the 4 wharf card from the circular wharf on a cruise boat to the Tarong Family Zoo. If you do so, remember to charge a little more money when you recharge.

Sign in recommendation-Ring wharf Zone

The ring wharf is the hub of Sydney's cruise ship system and is home to numerous attractions. Here you can visit the Sydney Opera House and use your camera to capture beautiful postcards from Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House in the Royal Botanical Garden-Lady Macaulay's stone chair!

The Sydney Opera House is one of Australia's most representative buildings and the largest and most famous performing arts centre in the Southern Hemisphere. The unique shape of its sailing boat is also the place that attracts tourists from all over the world to visit Fangrong all the year round. To the Sydney Opera House, you can also choose to visit the inside tour to learn more about the Opera House culture. If you have the opportunity, you can also enjoy a performance here to feel the shock of music and opera!

Hand chopping recommendation-Cape Birkenhead Mall

Travel abroad in addition to enjoying the culture and beauty of the edification, shopping is certainly also one of the necessary itinerary! Because the Sydney mall closes early, it is largely impossible to return to downtown shopping after a day of parade. So why not fly to Sydney's most famous Cape Birkenhead Point? on the first day of arrival? The mall, which also spent millions in 2004 on new designs and upholstery, has attracted a number of world-class brands, including ARMANI,HUGO BOSS,BALLY,UGG,COACH,VICTORIA'. As many as 140 boutiques such as S SECRET are the largest high-end direct shopping malls on the coast.

Take advantage of Shopper Hopper-the way locals travel to this shopping mall, and you can also take a trip to Sydney Harbour, which is also my most recommended mode of transportation.

epilogue

This late introduction to Sydney Airport has finally been finished. I hope it will help you to come to the free trip, oh, everyone has a good time and success is my greatest wish. Please also continue to pay attention to the Sydney transport strategy I wrote in succession as well as the airport strategy of other cities!
