After watching photo, I can`t help but drive a lot of Instagram fanatics crazy. A bird`s eye view looks like a big watermelon, making you want to bite it down, and this place is Lake McDonnell (Lake Macdonnell). In (South Australia), South Australia.

Lake McDonnell is located on Australia`s longest straight highway, with a length of more than 146 kilometers, and is among the best in the world. This highway connects Western Australia and South Australia for Eyre Highway,. Because the road does not need to turn all the way, the sign will show "90 Mile Straight".

To get to Lake McDonnell, type Cactus Beach or Lake MacDonnell, directly on Google Maps and start a wonderful self-driving trip. If you start from the more famous international airport, you need to arrange a long trip, because it takes 19 hours to get to Lake McDonnell from Perth International Airport, which is 1856 kilometers long. If it`s from Melbourne International Airport, whether it`s Tullamarine or Avalon Airport, it`s about 1568 kilometers long, or it takes 17 hours to drive uninterrupted in the car.

That would be much closer from Adelaide airport, about 871km, just 9 to 10 hours` drive. The closest way is to fly from Adelaide airport to Seduna (Ceduna), for an hour and a half and drive from Ceduna airport to Lake McDonnell in about an hour.
