Traveller's experience: animals in the Northern Territory are Magic

He and his family came in close contact with nature in the North Territory, and now the children of the family want to keep a crocodile as a pet!

What's going on? start with their trip to the North Territory.

Our daughter Molly, 4 years old, came back from her expedition to the North Territory, screaming like a crocodile, telling everyone about the amazing crocodile jumping boat she saw on the Adelaide River.

She knows all the names of crocodiles, especially the happy feet (Happy Feet) and Casanova (Casanova). They jumped from our boat and grabbed a piece of meat from the guide. Now, thanks for this trip to the North Territory, she wants to have a pet crocodile!

Molly's sister Abby says her best experience in the North Territory was to pick up a little crocodile in Darwin's crocodile park (Crocodylus Park). "it's soft, like mom's handbag, but it has sharp little teeth!" She said this with a bright smile on her face.

I brought back a delicious souvenir: crocodile sausage. I took these sausages to the caravan barbecue. This sausage looks like pork, but it tastes more like chicken. Oh, my God, it's delicious!

After seeing the alligator baby in crocodile park, we went to visit a big 5-meter-long sweetheart, (Sweetheart). It was a pity, however, that the big boy was no longer alive-he had died while he was moving. The 780-kilogram behemoth was entangled in a log during anaesthesia. This was clearly a very painful experience for all staff. Today, sweetheart's memorial is in the Northern Territory Museum and Museum of Art (Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory) in Finney Bay, Darwin.

The crocodiles in the Northern Territory waterways are accompanied by many feathered friends. Predatory birds of all shapes and sizes are scattered throughout the sky.

The Iris eagle swooped down and took small pieces of meat from the hands of our guide, Damian. Damien was a passionate naturalist and a sincere Australian. He treated all the creatures of the Northern Territory like his pets and cordially called them by their names. The Australian cranes danced slowly on the shoals in search of small fish, while the brightly feathered kingfisher played around the bushes in an attempt to avoid our scenes.

We re-entered into close contact with Northern Territory creatures in the North Territory Wildlife Park, (Territory Wildlife Park). Less than an hour's drive from Darwin, the park resembles a mix of Jurassic parks and common zoos, covering 625 hectares and home to living creatures. There are monsoon forest walking areas, wetlands, walkable bird farms, rock canyons and night walk animal galleries. One of our favorite areas is the flight deck, showing birds of different sizes, shapes and colors. The heart-faced barn owls were majestic and hovered a few centimeters above us. A giant wedge-tailed eagle with a hooked beak won the children's hearts. A broken wing rescue bird, its favorite is snuggled up to tame orcs chest.

In the reptile area, children tap bluetongue lizards, jungle rats and kangaroos.

William, 6, made friends with a lovely mongoose. Of course, he wanted to bring the new friend home when he learned that the number of weasels was dwindling as a result of habitat loss, frequent fires and poison from the toad.

There are 24 pavilions in the aquarium's habitat, starting on cliffs, moving through puddles and depressions until they meet the sea. The aquarium is home to turtles, crocodiles, rays, barracuda, sharks and coral reef fish. Here, the children's favorite is the clown fish Nemo.

Head south from Darwin for the Katherine Inland experience. The Horse Show is a feature event where operators Annabel McRatti and Tom Traff share their expertise with their children and their families. We were all invited to pat the horse and join the dog in the relay race. Tom impressed the children by playing guitar while riding. The inland experience gives us a real understanding of the activities of animals, which are an important part of cattle farm life.
