Green Cape Lighthouse is located at the southern tip of Ben Boyd National Park, south-east of New South Wales, about 45 kilometers from the town of Eden, the southernmost town of New South Wales.
Built in 1883, the lighthouse is now 29 meters tall and has a beautiful white octagonal shape, the second tallest lighthouse in New South Wales. Green Cape Lighthouse, built on the cliffs of the Cape, has a spectacular view of the sea. Lighthouses are open to the public and can be visited by tour guides. In addition, the cabin of the former administrator of the lighthouse, which has been transformed into a well-equipped standard room for tourists to provide accommodation services, needs to be booked in advance.
