Waterfall Gully

Waterfall Gully SA 5066, Australia

Introduction of Waterfall Gully

Waterfall Gully located in (Cleland Conservation Park), east of Adelaide, is about 10 kilometres by car from the city of Adelaide and about 13 kilometres by car from (Mount Lofty Summit), another scenic spot within the Clayland Nature Reserve, the Loveland Peak Watch. You can also walk through the walkway and walk about 3.5 kilometers of mountain road.

Waterfall Gully's largest waterfall falls by nearly 40 meters and is influenced by rainfall at the time, allowing visitors to view the waterfall from different angles from the upstream and bottom of the waterfall.

Waterfall Gully is one of South Australia's longer-standing tourist attractions, as early as 1851, Francis Clark wrote: "Waterfall ditch is the most beautiful picnic place I've ever visited," and by the 1860s, Waterfall Gully was well known in Adelaide.
