Mad Max Museum is located in the western interior of New South Wales, about 20 kilometers from Broken Hill, in the small town of (Silverton)., Sirfton.

Mad Max Museum was founded by British immigrant Adrian Bennett (Adrian Bennett) on a personal basis. Adrian is a fanatical "Crazy Max" enthusiast who, after settling down in Sirfton in 2009, began collecting items related to "Crazy Max", such as vehicles, movie props, photo materials, and so on. After a series of preparatory work, his museum officially opened in September 2010 and has been visited by a large number of tourists and film enthusiasts.
