New England National Park is located in the northern highland of New England (New England Region), northeast New South Wales, about 550km from Sydney, the capital of New South Wales. About 65 kilometers by car from (Coffs Harbor), a major town on the northeast coast of New South Wales, covers an area of about 673 square kilometers.
New England National Park is part of UNESCO's assessment of the World Natural Heritage: part of (Gondwana Rainforests of Australia), Australia's Gonwana rainforest, and the famous waterfall road, (Waterfall Way), is located north of the National Park.
(Point Lookout area) is the highest point of the National Park in Pointlutt, 1563 meters above sea level, and in clear weather it can be seen hundreds of kilometers away in the Tasman Sea of (Tasman Sea).
