Leaning Tree

LOT 145 Brand Hwy, Greenough WA 6532, Australia

Introduction of Leaning Tree

Leaning Tree is located on the southern outskirts of the western coast of Western Australia, Geraldton, on the Brand Highway (Brand Hwy), about 20 kilometers from Geraldton.

Leaning Tree is not far from the central Greennow historic site of (Central Greenough Historic Settlement), where there are many strange-looking trees, the trunk of which is not growing up, but sloping across the ground. This strange natural phenomenon is the result of the wind blowing in one direction year after year containing a large amount of salt from the Indian Ocean, causing trees to also grow in the direction of the wind.

While most of the Leaning Tree are inaccessible on private property, driving along Brand Road will be easy to see and get out of the car and take photos with them on the side of the road.
