Point Moore Lighthouse is located on the west coast of Western Australia and Geraldton, the fourth largest city in Western Australia.
Point Moore Lighthouse, built in 1878, was the first all - steel lighthouse built in Australia.
Point Moore Lighthouse is 34 meters high, the iconic red and white striped design was very bold and avantgarde at the time, with the observation room at the top, and the lighthouse was fully automated in 1985, so there are no observers on it now. Facing a clean beach, the lighthouse stands in the westernmost corner of Geraldton and has become one of the landmarks of Geraldton.
Point Moore Lighthouse is closed to the public, so it's impossible to go to the tower.
Located in Cape Moore, seven minutes from the heart of Geraldton, the hotel offers stunning sea views from the lighthouse.
