Washpool National Park is located in (New England region), northeast New South Wales, about 70 kilometers from Glen Innes and covers an area of about 587 square kilometers.
Washpool National Park, part of UNESCO's World Heritage: the (Gondwana Rainforests of Australia, Rainforest, 1986, is considered to have the best protected rainforest in Australia, and the rainforest in the National Park extends to the Great Watershed. Crossing the amazing wasteland, passing through the moss-covered forest, makes people mistakenly think that they have crossed time and space and entered the scene of the Lord of the Rings. Although the winter cold tide is wet and cold here, it is a rare place to go on vacation and summer in summer. The park has multiple trails and numerous campsites, suitable for hikers.
