Built in 1881, Wentworth, the small town of Old Wentworth Gaol on the southwest border of New South Wales, was the first Australian-designed prison, Old Wentworth Gaol, to be used until 1927 and later transformed into a classroom at Wentworth Central School (Wentworth Central School). As a tourist attraction now open to the public, visitors can experience the life and history of Australian pioneer pioneers more than a hundred years ago.
