Derby Wharf is located in Derby., a coastal town in (Kimberley Region), northern Western Australia.
Located north of Derby town, Derby Wharf has a maximum tide range of up to 12 meters, the highest. Derby Wharf in Australia and a perfect fishing site, with two to three hours before and after high tide is the best fishing time. The docks are brightly lit at night and are perfect for both sunrise and sunset.
The centennial at the entrance to the docks, (Centenary Pavilion), is a small museum that records the history of Derby Wharf, as well as a restaurant that opens from April to December every year.
Note: there are sea crocodiles in the water. Please do not swim in the water.
