South D'Aguilar National Park, which covers an area of 28500 hectares, has a large area of sub-tropical rainforests, woodlands and canyons, and is rich in bird resources in the uncultivated pristine forests here. There is an information centre at the entrance to the park to provide park maps and information about camping. If you want to camp in the park, you must get permission to camp through EPA (www.epa.qld.gov.au) before you arrive. At the same time, visitors also need a bicycle, which can't be reached by foot.
