St Paul's Cathedral, Melbourne

Flinders Ln & Swanston St, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia

Introduction of St Paul's Cathedral, Melbourne

The St Paul's Cathedral,Melbourne (St Paul ' s Cathedral, Melbourne) is located at the corner of downtown Melbourne, Flinders Street (Flinders Street) and Swanston Street (Swanston Street), opposite Flinders Street (Federation Square) Federal Square, at Flinders Street Station (Flinders Street Station).

The St Paul's Cathedral,Melbourne, built in 1891 and designed by British architect William Batty, was one of the earliest English churches in Melbourne and one of the landmark buildings of the Melbourne. Like the old prison (Old Melbourne Gaol), it was made of blue stone with fine lines on the walls. Through the often open thick wooden doors, this new Gothic architecture and each side of the painted glass gives a sense of time reversal. Walking into the church, the space is very large, dim lights, high dome into a little light, very peaceful and quiet, there is an indescribable mystery and majesty. The solemn altar, the solemn idol, the exquisite decoration, the gorgeous color painting, gives the human feeling like the time back to the ancient Europe. Every day at 5:10 there is a choir singing hymns in the church. Sit down and listen to their praise of god and let go of their hearts.
