Introduction of The See Yup temple

The The See Yup temple is located in the south Melbourne (South Melbourne) on the south bank of the Yalah River (Yarra River), the state capital of Victoria, about two kilometers from the centre of Melbourne city.

Four cities refers to the Guangdong Province Taishan, Kaiping, Xinhui and Enping four counties, the four counties border each other, language, living habits and marriage customs are similar, and everyone believes in Guan Di, because of rural, blood and karma relationship, in Sydney, Siyi Chinese naturally linked together.

Melbourne The See Yup temple was built in Xianfeng Qing Dynasty for six years (1856), designed by George Wharton (George Wharton). It is a two-story wooden building built with unique European and Chinese elements a blend of neoclassical and traditional Chinese architectural styles.
