Located in the heart of Victoria's capital, Melbourne, Hardware Lane is Melbourne's famous gourmet street.
With a total length of about 350m, the north-south alleyway is hidden in the middle of downtown, with a variety of gourmet restaurants, coffee shops and desserts on both sides of the road, rich in Italian cuisine and authentic cafes. Simple cafes have a strong flavor, people are used to sitting outside or drinking coffee or chatting, and bands serenade on the sidewalk. The red brick floor extends all the way from Burke Street (Bourke Street) to Longsdale Street (Lonsdale Street), and then to a small portion of Little Longsdale Street (Little Lonsdale Street).
Hardware Lane banned traffic between 11:00 and 11:00 and occasionally had live jazz performances at night.
