Coochiemudlo Island

Coochiemudlo Island is an island in (Moreton Bay), north of Brisbane, Queensland, between the mainland and (North Stradbroke Island), North StradBrock Island, covering an area of about 1.5 square kilometers.

Coochiemudlo Island, named after a boot, is known locally as Coochie.Coochiemudlo Island less than a kilometer from the mainland's coastline and has a permanent population, making it a popular holiday island, especially suitable for parent-child travel. Sheltered by North Strad Brock Island, which is surrounded by a four-kilometer safe beach, the family can have fun activities such as picnics, walks, kayaks, water bicycles, and so on, all year round, surrounded by a four-kilometer safe beach. How to:

• Ferry trips to and from Cape Victoria (Victoria Point), about 35 km from the city of Brisbane, start at 5:00 every day in Coochiemudlo Island, half an hour a day, and operate 23:30 on the island (holidays start and end an hour earlier).
