Perisher

Perisher is located in the interior of central New South Wales, within (Kosciuszko National Park), near the Victorian border, about 490km by car from Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, and 210km from the Australian capital, Canberra.

Perisher, the largest ski resort in the Southern Hemisphere, is a huge resort consisting of four interconnected villages (Perisher Valley,Smiggin Holes,Guthega and Blue Cow) in the Great Snow Mountain region, covering an area of about 12 square kilometers. The 47 cable car routes in the resort can basically meet everyone's needs. Snow farms have spent a lot of money buying snow-making equipment to ensure more snow than other Australian ski resorts, but most of the trails are shorter, given the small mountain drop.

There are seven snowy mountains in Perisher, the highest of which is 2054 metres above sea level in Mount Perisher, with the highest lift in Australia that can transport guests to 2034 metres. You can see Australia at an altitude of 2230 meters and (Mount Kosciuszko), the highest peak in Oceania.

There are four ski resorts in Coseucau National Park, with the exception of Perisher, the other three are: (Thredbo), Charlotte Parks ski resort (Charlotte Pass) and Selwin ski resort (Selwyn Snow Resort), Both offer a rich selection of accommodations suitable for a variety of budgets.

Australia skiing Tips:

• Every year from June to October is the snow season, July and August are recognized as the best ski season;
• Personal ski equipment is not necessary to purchase unless it is particularly fond of skiing, and there are a variety of clothing and utensils available for rent in the snow field; But is the ski special waterproof glove, the goggles and the hat on the head is not rented, had better buy complete before going up the mountain;
