Lake Canobolas is a man-made reservoir built in the early 19th century in (The Central West), NSW, about 10 kilometers southwest of Orange, a 14-hectare town.
Lake Canobolas is mainly used for recreational purposes, scenic and quiet surrounding the waters, with a number of walkways and picnic facilities, swimming, fishing, boating, dragon boat and other activities in the lake.
